If you need to clean it; Steam it!
Everything's PRO! No "real" cons, just a minor annoyance that occurs rarely. On big cleaning items or areas that require you to fill the steamer more than once. Waiting for it to cool enough to re-fill is a job killer. I've not finished cleaning stuff for having to wait. I've also not waited and nearly blasted my face off with blow back when adding water too soon. Love this thing.
