This is perhaps the best CASIO calculator in my opinion. And it is in color which is a nice treat. It is a very nice calculator also, much nicer than the white versions. The keys are big and the screen is very readable, also under bright light. The only downside if you can call it like this, is the hefty user manual which you have to learn if you wish to take advantage of the calculator's awesome functionality. Also, when running many calculations one after the other, they start to stack. The first ones goes up and disappears at the top of the screen. I would have expected it to give me the option to view the calaulations with the arrow keys available.
This calculator is a good alternative from the common Texas Instrument Ti-83. It comes with a friendly manula taht show you stpe by step all the features that this powerful device has. I used for algebra ,trigonometry , calculus 1 and Calculus 2. I only spent 20 bucks on it at Ebay. I bought two of them so far. Also some of my friends who are used to the Texas brand, they told me they would change their mind. Just try it. Good luck!!!

Although this product has been discontinued by CASIO, its still pretty good and does everything I need... The technology used is over 10 years old, but for the price I payed, I am very very happy with it... The screen is quite clear for a 10year old CASIO Calc.. Pros... 1) Brand New 2) Color Screen 3) User friendly menu Cons... 1) Technology over 10years old. 2) Color screen was smaller than expected.
A must for 8th grade...Algebra. Easy to use, comfortable keys, good size screen, good price for this type of product! The easy slide on hard cover is a must for inside backpacks.
I have been using the 9850GB PLUS for almost half a year now, and have not run into any problems with it so far. It is a little bulky, having been used to using non-graphing calculators which are smaller. Also a little slow when drawing a graph. Takes time to load. I learned to use it in a day or two, directions are straightforward. You can find the manual online. My only grievance is that you cannot change fractions to decimal points. Overall a good calculator, does what it's meant to do.
I think that it is totally awesome that when I search for a review of a product all I get is a review of the buying process. Either review the product or take your comments to the discussion board! Anyways, This is a great calculator. The price makes it even better. Why spend $100+ for a calculator when you are not going to use even 1/4th of it's functions? The cfx-9850gb can handle anything that you will do in school and beyond.
