Have taken your advice and checked all cables and connections. In addition, I had my grandson check the set-up. All cables and connections are correct

This unit may work with your set-up but it does not do so in my home. Since I cannot get the unit to work, I respectfully request permission to return the unit for credit. I was so hopefully the receiver would meet my needs and am sorry it failed in my situation. Thanks and have a blessed day—George

I like Onkyo receivers for their sound and especially the bass
