TG16 Gem!
This game is a must own for TurboGrafx 16 owners. One of the first console strategy games, Military Madness is very fun and surprisingly deep. Similar to Advance Wars and even Shining Force, it's straight forward and easy to learn. There's nice variation in units as well as stages to go along with a steady difficulty climb. The graphics aren't anything special, but for a 30 year old game that should be expected. My biggest criticism would be in the game music. The music is actually pretty good, but there's not many tracks so you'll learn them quickly. Controls are spot on, though with a strategy game there's not much to get wrong. Attack and defense success can seem randomly unlucky at times, but it seems to balance out overall. If you're considering it, buy the game.
