Bart vs. The Space Mutants is a platform game where you play the role of Bart Simpson (from the TV show The Simpsons) and must stop the Space Mutants from invading Springfield. On each of the five levels, Bart must collect (or get rid of) the ingredients that the Space Mutants are planning to use to build their machine, such as purple objects or balloons. If he collects enough ""proof"" of the aliens existence (left behind when they are jumped on), his family members help him when he meets a boss (characters such as Nelson and Sideshow Bob).
When I was a kid, I must have rented this game a hundred times. Each time, the game spent less than fifteen minutes in the NES, because it was so hard to play! Flash from 1991 to 2008, and I decided to give it another try. I had to do some research online to figure out some of the tricks to the game, and if you’re thinking about buying it… I would suggest you do the same!
I bought the game, first and foremost, because I am a huge Simpsons fan! If you are the same, you’ll find many neat things in the game from the first and second seasons of the show. Plus, you get to paint Moe the Bartender red… who wouldn’t love that?
All in all, after you get past the frustration of learning how to play this game, you’ll love it.
Don't think, just buy it, it's cheap as can be and worth it.
Bart Vs. the space mutants is a title I used to play as a child, and it really is quite terrible, but.... in that way that makes you love it dearly. It really is quite fun, the graphics and sound are awful and the premise of the game is simply dull.. This one will only cost you roughly 6 bucks (shipping included) or 3-5 if you find it at your local game store and is well worth every penny. plain and simple , if you love retro gaming with a passion , don't pass this title up because of it's critical inadequacies, it truly is worth a play through and is delightful... in the worst way...
