- Nanostray 2 brings more of the fast-paced, classic arcade-style shooting that made the original a popular choice for DS owners. Though primarily a side-scrolling shooter, later stages let gamers shoot from both top-down and bottom-up perspectives. The central gameplay option in Nanostray 2 is Adventure Mode, where players battle through 30 levels swarming with more than 100 different enemies and 16 bosses. Each ship can be custom-fitted with six different weapons, and players can unleash massive, screen-clearing blasts by building up multiplier bonuses with the new Nanoguage. Two players can team up or battle head-to-head, Challenge Mode offers 32 different objectives in unique environments, the Simulator provides four different ways to rack up high scores, and Arcade Mode lets gamers play without learning about the story of the Nanostray virus. Players also have the option of using Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection to upload top scores and see how they stack up against the competition.

Great game !
Addressing the complaints many had with tacked-on touchscreen features, Nanostray 2 has three control schemes -- classic control, left-handed touch control, and right-handed touch control. Like the previous game, gameplay focuses more on graphic quality rather than touch-screen control. Customization remains a key part of the experience: at the start of a level, players have the ability to adjust which special weapons they'll take into the fight, and also alter the angle of their side-mounted guns as they get mounted on the front, sides and rear of the ship during the action. Besides the main single-player mode, Nanostray 2 also has a Challenge mode, where players can try to get a set number of points, collect a set number of coins, or survive for a specific time limit...

Nanostray 2 (Nintendo DS)
Another great entry into the Nanostray series. I Thought the first nanostray was great the 2nd is even better. Classic space shooter with huge bosses. Tons of bad guys to destroy. Multi player works with only 1 game and downloads to the 2nd player. Multiplayer game play is just O.K. However the many single player modes more than make up for this small short coming. I highly recommend this game. If you have played the 1st Nanostray for DS you will enjoy this latest entry.

Lots of awesome fun!
Great graphics, intuitive game play, hours of entertainment, and some very creative bosses adds up to some of the best money that you'll ever spend on a DS game. My only fuss is that once all your ships and continues have been used, you have to start from the very beginning! (still looking to get around this, hopefully a cheat available or maybe an action replay will work?)

nano cool
what can I say I got what I wanted, the product works came on time. Its a lot of fun and it looks awsome. The music for the game is this crazy trance and every time you die a deep german voice tells you chill out which i thought was funning. I don't know what else to say beside thanks a lot.
