As good as the original knobs.
I have tried other replacement knobs for my 'Chef's Secret' waterless cookware and was disappointed with them...steam escaping and whistling in the 'closed' position. I had to be careful how i grabbed a hold of the knob so as not to steam myself. THESE knobs are a perfect fit and no stem escapes while in the closed position. I am very pleased.
