Do not just play one when three are available in "Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy." You get Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in one box set. All three games offer open-ended, nonlinear storyline gameplay. However, each takes place in a different time period and fictional city. For example, Vice City takes place in the 1980s and seems to be inspired by the crime drama 'Miami Vice' with criminals wearing pastel-colored suits. As in earlier versions, players get to choose from a wide array of deadly weapons, the game is full of self-involved pedestrians, and it offers eight radio station soundtracks that players get to listen to while inside of a vehicle.

The best value out there!
You get all three individual games in separate cases with the game maps/posters! Shipped VERY quickly and in perfect shape. Will likely buy again as my console's ribbon cable chewed up 2 of the discs.

Stay far away
These arent the original ps2 games. Rockstar took out some of the best songs from Vice City and San Andreas including Billie Jean! Also the games have color maps but no longer come with the original manuals. There is an insert in GTA3 to download the manuals online!!

I bought this and it's just the greatest. I owned these games a while back but had to get rid of them for reasons I can't really remember, but when I saw this I knew I had to get it, and it's as fun now as it was then...all three of them, with GTA SA being my personal favorite still. GTA VC coming in second which is still a great game all in it's own special way, and as I like to call it my rainy day game, GTA 3 comes in third but never last. If you're thinking about buying this then you should. No matter the reason, if it's been a while, that's the best time to buy it, if you've never played GTA games or nor one of these in particular, also a great reason for purchase. I'm very picky when it comes to videos games. I love a game with a great story and these games deliver. Graphics, well there Ps2 games, but these are great for the period they were created in so that won't be a problem unless you're just looking for something to complain about. Gameplay, very compelling, like watching a movie...everybody likes movies. :) Now I would go into greater detail but I can't talk forever, so I'll just leave it at this. Everything is good about these classics, and yeah they may be classics but they're way past they're time...TRUST ME. If I had anything bad to say about any of these games it would be....well I can't think of anything right now, but if I don I'll update this review and let you know. Steals The Gold Medal!!!!!
Grand Theft Auto Series has got to be one of the best overall series of all time. Graphics, gameplay, replayability, overall consistancy for greatness ranks 10 out of 10. Rockstar has outdone itself with every new release to include their latest GTA 4. These games are all rated M for mature and rightfully so. That being said, parents beware and dont buy this for your children. But for adult entertainment these games cant be beat!!!! These games all have a storyline that you can follow or you can just screw around doing nothing but causing havoc and being a total idiot if you choose. Most times I prefer the latter and just go around the vast areas and create mayheim. If you dont care for violence, then this is probably not the game for you. I do not believe that these games cause people to be violent, no more than playing Madden football makes me a superstar athlete. Video games are just fantasy and should be looked upon as such!!!Read full review
