  • Good quality

Good quality so far, I’ll give them 4 stars because they raise the price on me while I’m holding it on my shopping cart?????, I’m checking it every day after installed it.. I highly recommend if you buy one make sure you buy one that has 5 bolts Tighten the aluminum crossover with the black plastic body of the intake like this one .. The previous one I mistakenly bought has 2 bolts, they decided 2 bolts enough? So make sure.. The first picture shows the faulty one I bought from a different company and I sent it back..the second picture shows the good one with 5 bolts tightened the Aluminum crossover

  • Good value and it works. Included is everything you need.

The only problem I had was I had to add 2 washers under each fuel injector rail standoff because either the fuel injector hole wasn't deep enough or dimensions were off. Had a hard time tightening the rail bolts and the washers helped with that. At least you could use original bolts (studs) unlike course screws with a Dorman intake.

  • Good value

Installed this on my 2001 mustang gt. Installation took about 3 hours. Alternator brackets included with the intake did not work. I had to modify my factory bracket. Injector rail bolt holes do not have threaded brass inserts like the factory one does but all necessary hardware to make it work was included. Power feels the same as factory intake.

  • Offset not aligned intake manifold

The intake is off centered. The alternator brackets do not fit at all. The thermostat housing Bolt holes don't line up I had to drill so the bolts would go through I had to file the Spark plug holes because a socket would not fit in the hole because it was so off-centered also I had to put two washers on the fuel rail post to keep it flush I have a Mustang GT 2001 4.6 2v according to your page this unit fits the Mustang I have read reviews and other people I've had these problems but it seems I've had all their problems in one unit.I did manage to get it to work but I had to modify it to do so which is not what was described.

  • Check all parts

Only problem I had was some plug came off it 2 days later and antifreeze went all over my motor and wires. I would of thought the piece would of been made to stay but evidently not.... I had to make something to take it's place as I need my vehicle daily.

  • Some mods needed.

A few of the original bolts were a little too long and bottomed out before being tight so I added washers as needed. I did see that the spark plug holes were a bit covered by the manifold but I diddnt try to put a spark plug socket in the hole to see if it fit. Trimming plastic would be no big deal. The little black plastic spacer with for holes in it was to shim the egr something and it got pitched. No instructions came with it but I found a you tube video on it and that was pretty good. She runs, no drips, no errors. I did the spark plugs first and so I blew out all of the dirt before the manifold. The heat shield under the manifold was shot so i made one out of fiberglass and aluminum foil. I am probably wrong about the little black plastic shim spacer. I dont think it would be there for nothing.

  • Solid part.

Fit great on my 2003 GT. No leaks, no problems. The washers on the fuel rails are necessary. It fixed a massive vacuum leak. I painted it aluminum colored and painted the valve covers also. The valve covers were harder to take off and put back on than the manifold was. Get one and dont worry about it.
