Used this in my HP Z420 desktop so I could hook up a thunderbolt mac monitor I was given. HP says you need to plug it into PCIe port 3 but my graphics card was blocking it, so I used port 4 with no issues. This product didn't come with any cables. I couldn't find the cable that HP says you need to plug into the motherboard, but the monitor still worked with just a display cable to the graphics card. Also, this product shipped incredibly fast. Very impressed.

What choice?
Would be nice if someone carried these here in the states. Going to China for everything is a little unsettling. It took over a week to get it. Otherwise it is worth getting as your card wont work without one.
