Johnson and Thomas play detective duo Crockett and Tubbs who pose as members of the city's criminal underworld as they battle their own inner demons. A generation of men followed the style of the pair, wearing the pastel-jacket-and-tee-shirt combo that Johnson and Thomas made so famous. Cop show extroidinaire
Everyone remembers the two leading characters but hardly anyone remembers the great guest stars. Music played with their in house synthesizer was 30 years ahead of time. It has been great to watch a show I loved and haven't seen since it ended. The stories and characters are still engaging, there are stars who weren't when they made appearances, and it's a reminder of just how horrendous the fashions and hair were in those days!
