Love this classic movie
Saw this great Steve McQueen movie in the theater as a young child. What s great impression it had. I have recorded it on my HD DVR many times wishing the clarity and definition was there but it was lacking. Made the purchase of this movie and no regrets because on Blu-ray it is a phenomenal thing to behold. Super definition like never before. The car chase standard
Truth be told, it’s a pretty awful and mostly depressing movie. But the two cars and the chase are the standard by which all movie car chases are measured. Sure, the newer movies are prettier, like the remake of Gone in 60 Seconds and the Fast Five movies, but this one feels more real and dramatic. Steve is cool as always, but the movie, like a lot of the classics we all remember through rose colored glasses, sucks.
