This is my second one now, I'm not sure if the OEM retainers are just weak or if it's because mine were old, but if you're reading this it's probably because those 3 plastic tabs snapped when you were changing your headlights. I find that these ones not only fit tighter, but the tabs also don't break every time you want to change a headlight. I think it's a bit pricey for a small plastic ring but it fits my '04 Grand Am great, and I have had no problems with these ones yet.
