A Western With Something For Everyone
Rio Bravo for me was: One of the best westerns as far as total entertainment: John Wayne is always John Wayne with a nice touch of Romance coming from the Duke and Angie Dickinson, Dean Martin & Ricky Nelson added those great Voices and also acted out their roles well, Walter Brennan added some levity at just the right times as usual ! This Was Just Fine
This review request asked if the movie was entertaining and if the characters in the movie were engaging. Well, I certainly would not have bought it had the movie been unentertaining and the characters anything other than engaging. What odd questions for a DVD purchase review. In any case, the DVD played through without stutters or other failure---this always is the main issue with any DVD I purchase---and thus was worth the price.
