Nita Engle's good advice and knowledge of watercolor makes this a worthwhile book for watercolorists willing to experiment with different techniques. She discusses papers as well as color reactions and even shows how to use a palette knife with watercolor. The photographs are wonderful, and often show steps involved to obtain various effects. Her works contain lots of light, water, snow & woods. This book was recommended to me by another artist. Good choice.
A great book to have and use....I have taken several workshops with Nita. Most of this book covers what she taught in her workshops! This one is for a gift! Nita had DVD'S, available, too. À GREAT ARTIST AND TEACHER. We recently lost her at age 93. BJR
