Purely an initial impression
Two things to note. I am not the greatest at maintenance and also am relatively new to this hobby. A set of set up instructions would have come in handy. The other item is that one of the four shocks freezes up, and I have to disassemble it to get it working again. upgraded shocks
1 of the shocks gets hung up in depressed position and i got to stop and pop it lose. I would stick to stock shocks unless i got a faulty shock. Havnt had any problems with stock, just thought of upgrading parts ill put pic in next time i run it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Get what you pay for
This was for my wife's redcat. Thought the aluminum would hold up better. The shock rod has a lot of play in it when unsprung. It leaks out the top shock cap. So, not really worth it. Should have bought oem ones.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Really bad shocks
I have no idea what the problem are with these shock. Ordered a set. They came in with just a small amount of oil. So like most shocks I filled them to the top with 50 wt and installed them. They are not normal. No damping at all. They are oilless? I couldn't figure it out. Dumped the oil back out to about the same level they cam with and still no damping. Just like running springs only.
