I'm surprised they didn't break, but they are performing fine.
I've only tried a couple of the bulbs, but they are brighter than I expected. I'm not sure the color temp is correct. They are suppose to be balanced as daylight, but they look a bit yellow. I'll get a light meter on them and see for sure. My biggest concern was the way they were packed. Although they all seem to be fine, there was virtually no padding or bubble wrap to absorb shock. Low cost, High Quality: Great LED Bulbs
Being able to pick up a large back of these so cheaply is amazing, especially considering the high quality. They were designed by Maxlite, which is an American based company (even if the bulbs themselves are made in China), and are good quality. These bulbs are amazing for several reasons: 1) They were designed by a well known company that specializes in lighting 2) They are rated for enclosed fixtures, which is rare and means they take heat well 3) They are suitable for damp locations (more common) 4) They have a high CRI (Color Rendering Index) at about 80 (Color is good) 5) They are fully dimmable to 10%, which is usually only found on pricy bulbs 6) They have a 25,000 hour life - 22.8 years (High end of most LED bulbs) 7) They have a 5 year warranty from Maxlite I am very impressed with these, as you get all the features of high end LED bulbs for something that costs way less. All of these positives I have listed are very impressive for an LED bulb. I have used one for almost a month now, without problems. I took one apart, and for those curious: they use capacitive dropper power supplies (not switch mode, like some other models) and have the power supply on a separate PCB from the LED board. The LEDs are arranged on an aluminum substrate that friction fits into the aluminum heatsink. There are 8 LED die in series that contain about 6 diodes each (I think). The board has a current control chip that can throttle performance of the LEDs to prevent overheating and also regulates the power level. Overall, a good design.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

They work, but I cannot speak to their longevity at this time. Color temperature and brightness are accurate and acceptable! They are a good size for virtually all small lamps that use E26/E27 base bulbs. Good initial price. Very little energy to use. In my area (Milwaukee) I figured it costs only 3 cents to burn continually for 15 hours.
