Definitive Diamond Disc
There are many Greatest Hits cds of Neil Diamond available but >>this<< one is >>the<< one to get. 1 disc 23 songs (not 21 as listed ) 80 minutes of music every song you can think of that Neil is known for. Neil could sing it all from soft and sweet (Love On The Rocks) to loud and hard (Brother Love...) and everything in between (Forever In Blue Jeans.) No two songs sound alike showing Neil's diversity of sound and talent. I liked the addition of two lesser known songs 'Red Red Wine' and 'I'm A Believer' (yes The Monkees song that he wrote) and the original solo recording of 'You Don't Bring Me Flowers' which was the deciding factor for this purchase with 'America' not included on some discs. There is another disc with almost all the same songs with the duet version of this so your choice. I have the duet version on a Barbra Streisand disc. Neil was one of the >>great<< singer songwriters of the 60s 70s era long gone. These songs still sound good today and have stood the test of time after fifty plus years. If you grew up listening to Neil you need this album for your music library you will not be disappointed.

Great sound quality
I enjoy neil diamond, but am not a die hard fan. This is the first time I've bought one of his albums. Not only is the music assortment excellent, but the sound quality, for a standard cd, is top notch. The better your system, the greater your enjoyment of this album will be. Fantastic horns, dynamics, vocals throughout.

A good group of songs and well worth the money.
This is a fine Neil Diamond studio recorded album. It contains the big hits that you have heard on the radio. I would have considered it great except it lacks two songs I would have liked to have had on it. Those would have been Stones and The Grass Won't Pay No Mind. All in all it is a nice collection of songs. I still rate it highly.

This is the third greatest hits cd of Diamond's I have bought, and finally I found one without the tiresome live versions. This has every hit except "Longfellow Serenade" that i wanted, and I enjoy it immensely.

This collection of ND hits had good flow. These are the studio recordings, entirely of close to it, if I recall. He’s fantasy in concert, but I love the standard studio recordings and this satisfies. What a beautiful poet and lyricist.
