    Rate and Review Avalon Hill Axis & Allies Europe 1940 Second Edition WWII Strategy Board Game; long name

    Compared to the original A & A (Which I still love to play), it has so many more types of combat units (Tactical Bombers, Mechanized Infantry, Destroyers & Cruisers), and opposing countries (Italy), and tactics - Convoy attacks, Naval & Air Bases to extend movement; that push the game light years ahead. More involved and much additional strategy and planning.

    Exactly as advertised. I'm a big fan of A&A anniversary so decided to get a set up for G40. I ended up with two Europe and two Pacific copies and the large Renegade playmat. This was the most economic copy of Europe I could fine. 5/5 stars/
