This the correct factory humidifier pad for General Aire humidfiers as listed on label. Works & fits perfect easy to change if you follow user manual directions, as you must remove a couple of nuts. Follow label & user manual directions for best results. I just paid $30 for 1 water pad from my local Heating and Cooling Company. I watched how they serviced my humidifier that’s attached to my furnace. 990-13 humidifer filter pad lacks metal frame
The General 990-13 humidifier filter has a metal frame to hold it together and to guide the water flow. This 990-13 does not have the frame. If you have an old filter, remove the old frame and install it on this new filter, it will fit exactly and works perfectly. I did not try using it without the frame but it would probably work. My furnace is a heat pump and the plenum air temperature is not as hot as a gas furnace so I connected the humidifier to the HOT water supply and all is well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
