  • Minimalist aero-friendly rear view mirror for drop-bar bicycle

I have one of these on all of my drop-bar bikes. I appreciate the clean, aero design. It is just enough, when positioned correctly, to be able to see what is coming up behind you. I also like that it has some give. So rather than snap off or break, it pops out of the mount during inadvertent contact - just pop it back in and you are fine. I have had larger (clunkier) rear-view mirrors on a flat-bar bike that do provide a better rear view. But for fast riding on a road bike, this little mirror is just enough. I feel weird riding without one.

  • A great little mirror

It's really hard to find a mirror that actually works on a gravel/CX bike. I've tried just about everything made and was about to give up when I saw this. It was a little tough to get it installed, so I'd probably try a little tire lube next time. Mirror stays put when riding even over the roughest roads and doesn't vibrate. It's critical to see what's behind you where I ride (logging trucks, dump trucks, UTV's, etc.) and thanks to a car accident it's very difficult to turn and look behind me. A working mirror is literally a life saver on my rides. My only complaint is that it would be nice if it were round on the outer edge so it had more viewing area. You have to adjust it outward as far as it goes or you will just see your leg (at least with the bars I have). I'm happy it didn't end up in the box of mirrors I bought in the past that didn't work and I highly recommend you give it a try.

  • Sprintech dropbar mirror

I only have one for my left side (U.S.A.) Other reviews state that you can't see approaching vehicles until they're too close. My personal experiences after using it extensively for over 3 months in short and long century, solo and group rides, is that it does it's job well. It has help me tremendously. Not having to look back over my shoulder is a lifesaver IMO. Once I set it on my favorite spot to look, I could see everything behind my left side. I sometimes move it some with my knee on take offs, but I can easily adjust it back once on the way. I did put a small piece of rubber band inside the receiver "cup" and it holds it in place, even on rough surfaces. It does get dirty easily with my sweat, but I can clean it enough with my gloves. It's black like my bike, so it looks cool and almost inconspicuous. I'll definitely get another one when I upgrade my current bike. Ride on!

  • Convenient, light, unobtrusive.

Generally like the product. It is serving the purpose. It is convenient,, light weight, unobtrusive, and manages to hold its position well through wind and bumps. After a number of miles in traffic situations, I think I would like it a little better if the mirrored surface was just a little less convex. It does give a wide view, but it is a little hard to judge the distance to traffic from the rear. I think I will get used to it, but think it could be a little better.

  • Top Notch Rear View Mirror

I bought the Sprintech left-hand rear view mirror to replace a mirror I lost recently. I am thrilled with the Springech. The image is clear. The mirror stays adjusted for a long time, even on bumpy roads. Note: the mirror is convex, so "objects are closer than they appear". It is of high quality. It is a hard push to install it in the handlebars, but that's what you want...just keep wiggling it, until it is inserted all the way.

  • Best one I've used so far.

I've had previous experience with bar-end mirrors. Before this I used a Cycle Aware mirror, but always had to stuff additional tape in the bar end to try to keep the awful amount of jiggling down. Ultimately, the plug pieces failed. The Sprintech seems to cure all of this. The pressure exerted by the plug onto the inserted mirror stub seems plenty sufficient to keep the mirror stable and it requires no readjusting. Love it!

  • Well made, effective mirror

They're small but work well enough as an inconspicuous drop bar bike mirror. The curvature of the mirror makes it unnecessary to adjust the Sprintech when you move from tops to drops. Simple ball joint design should last a lifetime. I've fitted singles on two bikes and will get a third if my other bike's mirror, not a Sprintech, needs replacing.

  • Who's behind you?

I've tried most of the mirrors available on the market. The helmet attachment is worthless and other drop handlebar mirrors just vibrate way to much. Sprintech is, for my money, the best one available!

  • Spintech Dropbar Mirror

This is a great mirror for drop bars, easy to adjust and gives a good field of vision without taking up space on the bars. Highly recommended

  • Nice wide view

Converted my bike from a flat bar, and was looking for a good drop bar replacement. A nice wide view, and clear too. I can even see traffic behind me if I`m out of the saddle. Good value.
