With the World at War, Activision's veteran military first-person shooter series heeds a call to return to its WWII roots. Built on the Call of Duty 4 engine, World at War aims to bring Modern Warfare's sharp graphics, chaotic battlefield environments, and tense shooter action back to the World War II setting in which the series earned its stripes.
As (at least) the fourth original console and home computer Call of Duty title set during World War II, World at War offers an expanded selection of era-authentic infantry and vehicle weapons, as well as the tactics that go with them, such as using flamethrowers to burn away camouflaging cover and expose hidden enemies. The Final Fronts PS2 version of the game features its own storyline and mission progression.
Call of Duty: World at War -- Final Fronts players take the role of a United States Marine in the Pacific, a British Airborne officer on the Rhine, and an 80th Infantry soldier in Bastogne, to face an onslaught of deadly new techniques, including brutal guerrilla warfare, deadly booby traps, and unrelenting Banzai Charge attacks.

The game has multi-difficulty levels which is a very nice feature. The game scenarios are interesting and challenging. Your moves within the game are very restricted to where the game forces you to go and what you can do within each scenario. The graphics are very good. Overall, I would rate this game a 4.0.
Final Fronts is a Good Game with exceptions............
Final Fronts is a companion disk for the World At War for the new generation systems. This game gives you three campaigns. The other systems only have two. Graphics are good considering its on a older system that came out back in 2000. Also the other World At War games on the new generation systems are rated M while on the PlayStation 2, its rated T. There is no blood. There is no Multi-player whats so ever. Don't be fooled by what other websites advertise. Great game to play though. Plenty of weapons including the Flame Thrower!
I bought this game. I recommend buying Call Of Duty 3 for the PlayStation 2 as well. You'll spend hours playing these two great games!
Controls weren't smooth. Graphics were some of the worst of any COD game. The choice for the environments were good, but the graphics for them sucked. This game could make a strong case for being the worst COD ever.
Great Game a lot of fun, great graphics. I love the way you can come a part of history. It is also I great way to teach your young adults about what the country has gone though over the years to become the America we know today and that a lot of soldiers gave their lives so we can live free today. the only complaint would be it is a little slow at times between missions but still a great game to play.
The game was amazing everything from the graphics to the controls to the story line it was great. This was only my second war game ive ever played the last being one of the first medal of honor games and i really enjoyed this the only thing is it was so short i couldnt believe it was over so fast this game took me only a day and a half to finish which playing time was probably aproximately 5 to 7 hours or so if there was more it would be a perfect game
