The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra performed 10 of the tracks on the game while John Williams created an additional two songs. The game has a rating recommending it for ages 10 and up.With gameplay functions similar to other sim games, Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis requires you to balance various aspects of park management. As if you were John Hammond, you'll set up feeding stations and attend to the animals' needs. Carnivores must be fed live mammals, but they also want to hunt other dinosaurs. Herbivores need trees to feed on and fellow herbivores to socialize with. It's necessary to build enclosures and take plenty of security measures as any fan of the Jurassic Park franchise will know. If you are a dinosaur enthusiast, you will find your knowledge useful in this game. If you aren't an expert on prehistoric life, you can learn more about the animals with the handy "Dinopedia" that is included. You will also have to think about including visitor amenities, such as places to eat and bathrooms. You will need to research diseases and vaccines and send fossil-hunting teams around the world to extract more DNA. Animals with more DNA live longer.Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis features incredible graphics that recreate the tropical island where the story unfolds. In addition, the dinosaurs are accurately scaled and terrifically detailed. There are several modes of play in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis for Windows. In the low-key sandbox mode, you'll design and create your own park. An action-packed mission mode gives you the chance to complete certain tasks, such as rescuing visitors or killing carnivores that have gone on a rampage. You can also choose exercises that require you to meet certain goals, such as having certain popular rides or species available for visitors to your park. Completing all the missions in the game allows you to unlock a mode in which you can create an island that visitors are not allowed on.
