Pfaff Varimatic
My first Pfaff sewing machine is the Pfaff1222E which I love. Recently, I decided to add the Pfaff Varimatic 6085 because it is portable. It sews beautifully, although it is a little bit heavy to transport. The old Pfaff machines are well built and have less plastic. I intend to stick with them into the future. Eleanor Morris

A well made machine
I have had a Pfaff 1221 in a cabinet since 1975 and have found it to be a great machine. I was excited to find a NEW OLD Pfaff in order to have a portable machine. I hope to use it for quilting and be able to travel with it.

Machine sews fine, but very noisy. I haven’t tried the different stitches yet, only the straight stitch. It may need to be serviced to sew smother.

All it needed was a cleaning and it was off to the races. I even sewed 4 layers of upholstery leather without a leather needle. .
