This is an earlier week of Shark Week that I wanted to see again. It focuses more on the terror sharks can create versus the science of the sharks. It is not the best week they've had, just and earlier one that fascinated me and got me more involved in paying attention to sharks. While there have been some other great weeks of Shark Week, this one was sort of an initiation or a turning point for me. I really enjoyed seeing it again and I will watch it more times.

I bought this collection as a fan of Discovery television and particularly for the feature 'Ocean of Fear' which is about the USS Indianapolis sinking in 1945 and the biggest shark attack ever. Most of the sailors who died (a mere 300 survived the sinking) were killed through hyperthermia and drinking saltwater but many were attacked by sharks. If you haven't seen this documentary, told through survivor's eyes, and you're interested in sharks or World War II stories, you're missing out! Includes two DVDs with 6 programmes including 'Perfect Predators', 'Shark Tribe' and 'Shark Feeding Frenzy'. A must-have for any shark fans.
Shark week is okay but the people on there are annoying. One guy who thinks he Mathew Mcconaughey on the show, never wears a shirt says he is a scientist. I doubt this cat really was a scientist, hes an idiot. The shark stuff is cool but there is way too much talking with the clowns in the background. To holloywoodish. Good flick, jsut mute the TV and play sounds of the ocean on your radio.
The title of the name clearly says "2-disc set" but i didn't get 2 disc's. i only got 1. im very upset and disapointed that i didnt get both discs. i didn't get what i bought.
Awesome DVD set on sharks. By far the best is the episode on the USS Indianapolis sinking and subsequent shark attacks. An incredible story of survival!
