Aside from feeling like it was made with a 3D printer, it's dead on accurate with VHF/UHF frequencies and decoding CSS/DCS. However, you need to be within inches for this to work. Great little counter
Using this as a quicker way of finding the frequency and tones than trying to have a bunch of cables, computer, and software for used radios. It works very good. Has helped me in programming radios, identifying unknown transmissions, and its been very spot on. Battery lasts for a very long time. Used it every other day since I got it and not even hardly off full power. The display isn't bright enough for direct in sun use but covering with hand makes it readable. Overall good unit.
