The book is subjective to the likes of the authors. You won't find much about the R-7000 except for a purist account of it not being a legitimate member of the ZTO family due to the band frequency arrangement blah-blah. Granted the title does indicate Trans-Oceanic, and even though some of the companion radios are listed, others are not. The actual book is quality, heavy stock paper and provides a lot of useful information, at least enough to wet your appetite!

As a fan and collector of Zenith transistor Trans-Oceanic radio receivers, I find this work indispensable, it is well researched and pleasantly written. Very valuable too in documenting an important constituent of consumer electronics evolution over 60 years, makes you nostalgic of gone times when we were still capable of amazement. It is a shame it is not published as a hardcover.
Great Book for Zenith radio fans!
