High quality sight glass at an affordable price!
These Pyrex tubing sight glasses are available in a variety of custom sizes, superbly made and very well priced. I am a repeat buyer and use them primarily in swimming pool and other plumbing applications where it is necessary to see that the water (and its tell-tale bubbles) is flowing correctly. Whereas clear plastic PVC or silicone tubing soon becomes cloudy from chlorine exposure, these Pyrex tubes stay crystal clear for years on end. A short piece of Pyrex can be snugly inserted into the right sized plastic tubing with PTFE paste and held in place with automotive hose clips, the spring release kind used to clamp hoses on radiator pipes with a pair of pliers.
