This show is a thrill ride you'll just have to go on over and over again, well worth the price of owning your own copy. Very well written, with a nice mix of action and drama. This series should be good for both guys who like action style movies, and filled with enough emotion and tear jerker moments to keep the girls watching to see what's going to happen with their favorite character/s next. Lena Headey, is a great Sara Conner, she gives the character an added depth that just wasn't there before. Also having done a bit of acting myself I have had to learn and understand the differences in English, Scottish, Irish, and Australian accents. I also know just how hard it is get away from pronouncing your words that way when you've been doing it awhile. She pulls off the American accent so well I didn't even notice that it wasn't really the way she speaks. It's not as easy as people may think to switch like that and have it pass without notice. Summer Glau Does it again, even after her previous role on Firefly & Serenity, she can still pull you into the story with an outstanding performance as Cameron. Glau just keeps doing these characters have to be both tough and diverse to play off convincingly for anyone. One minute she's this tough emotionless Terminator Hot chick. Next scene around she shows passion and feeling, then she does this innocent curious little kid type of this with a perfect pitch and expression. Summer Glau should get an award or two, she's certainly earned it. Thomas Dekker give the John Conner Character a bit too much feeling, but he still pulls off the rebellious teen, good think it's still close to a natural thing for him so he doesn't strain himself. Richard T. Jones delivers another good performance as Agent Ellison and has evolved the character since the series beginning. It just keeps getting better. Brian Austin Green, delivers a good solid performance and his character adds spice to the mix that really livens things up. He's portrayal of Derek Reese as the tough resistance fighter with a solid Hatred for the Machines, mixed with the John Conner's caring Uncle, is pleasantly diverse and well played.Read full review
In my opinion this was one of the best TV series that was ever allowed to air on FOX. The story line was brilliant and the series could have been never ending. The network executives at FOX need to have their heads checked. But they don't make the ultimate decisions anyway so it's not really their fault. The cast was beyond spectacular. Lena Headey playing the role of Sarah Connor was a great choice. Her American accent was awesome. I never knew of Lea Headey until seeing her on this series. I didn't even know she had an English accent until watching and listening to the commentary from the cast. Thomas Dekker was a great choice to play John Connor, Richard T. Jones as Agent Ellison was a very good choice. Summer Glau as Cameron- the sexy female terminator reprogrammed by future John Connor and sent back to the present to protect John was a no brainer their. Summer Glau is so talented that it's an almost ridiculous thought to not have had her cast in The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Brian Austin Green in my opinion was the best choice for playing the role of Derek Reese(Johns uncle and brother of Kyle Reese-(Johns father). A shout out to the rest of the unmentioned cast and crew that put this series together. And to the network executives at FOX...bring this series back! James Cameron s Terminator franchise sells and will always sell. Whether it is aired on FOX or another network. People love this sort of entertainment. Overall...If your a fan of The Terminator movies buy season one and season two of Terminator- Sarah Connor Chronicles and I promise you that it will definitely keep you entertained for hours and hours and hours.Read full review
Great, entertaining series and a warning! Much of this is current events, not futuristic sci-fi. I was quick to buy the second season DVDs, too, with twice as many DVDs and about 4 episodes per disc.

Better than the movies. T2 was as good. They should have made this into a movie, and they never should have cancelled it. They should bring it back and make it into a movie. The whole cast was awesome. Just to add, Season 2, with Shirley Manson, OMG, she is incredible. You really owe it to yourself to buy both season 1 and season 2 and watch them in order. Each disc is 3 episodes and it is like watching 6 movies. Some of the episodes are a 10. I mean literally, the best shows I have ever seen. But they are all good, some are just so good, you will lose yourself in the episode. Watch them with no interruptions. These are actually better than when it was on TV, because they have no commercials. And watch the video on Youtube, not sure if it is on the DVD, where Shirley sings in the studio. First take. Stellar performance. God, I wish they would make the final terminator movie using this cast. Just blows away the movies. T2 was good, T3 was also good, but these are better. No question.Read full review

I am a big fan of sci-fi and the Terminator franchise. I watched this entire season as it aired on television, and purchased it to watch for a second time. Josh Freidman really developed a winner here. A great blend of science fiction and drama with excellent character development. A top notch cast including Summer Glau as Cameron the T100 Cyborg sent back in time to protect a teenage John Connor (played by Thomas Dekker). Also a great performance by english actress Lena Heady. If you are a fan of sci-fi or the Terminator franchise you cannot go wrong with this. 4.9 out of 5 stars for me.
I enjoyed the orginal Terminator movies, but I wondered if a TV series could duplicate the edge of your seat excitement. Well it not only holds the same level of tension, it does it with great acting and tightly written episodes. The movies were basicly one long chase, but the Sara Connor Cronicles has added characters, such as terminator turned protector, Cameron, and John's uncle who is sent back from the future by John to help protect him. Filled with enough action and plot twists to keep the adventure fan coming back, this program has plenty of human, and human like machine interaction to satisfy the person interested in good dialog and beliveable characters.
I wanted to get Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles several years ago, but now I have them and it's great. Why would the studio cancel the show when it was highly rated? Go figure. Anyways, I love the series.

I must admit, I was a bit hessitant to order Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles: The Complete First Season. I had saved all the shows to my TIVO. I'm glad I bought this, as it has lots of extras that I didn't get from the Broadcast shows! This has Audition tapes, Gag Reel (Bloopers), deleated, or rather Terminated Scenes, an extended version of episode 7, a few of the shows have comentary from the producer, and cast members. So much better than TIVO, and a must for any Terminator-The Sarah Connor Chronicles fans!
good condition, top rate S.F. action, it's on HULU but the ads drive you crazy
