Very high quality
I just put a set of these on a warmoth tele neck that I bought used from eBay. I expected a straight drop in replacement as the neck had no string trees and had obviously had staggered tuners of the vintage type on it previously. The only, minor, surprise was that the (absolutely beautiful) ferrules didn't want to sit right in. I used my bridge pin ream and gave them each a few twists and then set the ferrules in with a nice friction fit. The engineering on these parts is well done and they are very good value, worth the extra money for a new or high quality build. I have and will do it again 👍.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bought it for my squire stratocaster Bullet. I wanted to remove one of the three string guilds to look more fender stratocaster like. It works great. Diggin' the staggered vintage style tuners!
I've always liked vintage style tuners on a stratocaster, and Gotoh vintage style tuners have always worked great for me. This is my first time buying the staggered version. I'm currently not using a string tree, and they are working out just fine. Only vintage size tuners I'll use
Second set I've bought to install on a Warmoth neck in vintage sized holes. No need for a string tree. These look and work great, a little stiff when new but they hold tune well. Great Tuners
I’ve had both locking tuners and vintage tuners - In my opinion Gotoh makes the best of both. I find both to be very stable on tuning and staying in tune. Locking are a little easier to string but the vintage isn’t hard to string and I think have the right look on vintage guitars. Mine came in an Allparts package and had the wrong size bushings. Found out that there was a problem with packing at Allparts and I’m asking them to send me the correct bushings .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

GOTOH vintage style tuners.
I really like these tuners. This is the first time that I didn't use locking tuners on one of my personal projects, but they're great. They are a direct replacement for the old vintage tuners.
