    LEE Ram Prime - Updated version

    This Ram Prime is a great update of LEE's original Ram Prime. I used the original for years with no problems. The only downside was having to change out the cup and pin from small primers to large primers. Eventually the pins got to where they didn't want to come out of the base without a lot of force. This new version eliminates that problem. I only use LEE dies and presses and I haven't ever had a reason to change. They suit my reloading needs excellently.

    This a great improvement over the old ways. I squeezed the hand primer for 30 years, then the ram type you have to change shafts for small or large primers. With these there's nothing to break. I'll be a single stage loader until I die.

    I broke a priming arm on my vintage hurt...

    I broke a priming arm on my vintage hurters press because there was some Federal 45 ACP cases that had small pistol primers instead of large, unfortunately there's impossible to find a new priming arm for such an old press. This is exactly what I was looking for ! I can continue to use the large cast iron vintage press and just use a dye to prime in a separate operation.

    Very Easy

    This "Lee Ram Prime" is perfect for priming, I used it as soon as it came. I have a Lee Pro 1000 progressive Press and was reloading 9mm I was just about finished and had 15 more rounds to go and didn't want to refill the primer tray on the Pro 1000 so I finished the priming with a single stage press and the "Lee Ram Prime" which works perfectly No reloading bench should be with out it

    A little confusing to set up.

    It would be nice if there were instructions with this unit, I believe it would be a good piece of equipment. I can not get it to work with the spring and spacer. I have Lee Twist Lock Single stage press, and with the adapter the press does not stroke long enough to seat a primer.

    Priming Tool

    Priming Tool was easy to set up and use. I had wanted to prime swaged 30-06 shells which I had reamed but did not want to use my regular priming press so that I could feel the amount of pressure needed. Worked great. Good price and quality.

    LEE 90106 * RAM PRIME PRIMING

    I got this LEE 90106 over some other primer tools like a $60 RCBS I took back, I need a priming tool that I can seat the primer deep for 44 mag I am using rifle primer the little bet long then the pistol primers if I do not get the primers deep enough I will get a misfire this tool works great for me, you can over seat the primers with this tool.

    Quick and easy.

    I like priming on the press as it's quick and easy and you get a good feel for the primer being properly seated. I already had one of these and bought a second so I'd have one for large primers and one for small rather than having to reconfigure them each time. It's well made and should last a lifetime.
