Bunn coffee filters are made to fit the coffee grounds holder. We find off brands don’t have enough volume to hold the water needed to brew the coffee. The grounds overflow the filter. Bunn filters do not do this.

I bought a keurig which has single cups but it also makes pots of coffee up to 10 cups . Use a regular filter and it overflowed over the filter. Had a mess. Reid it twice. Same results. The instruction said nothing about a tall filter, but I noticed the picture on the box and it looked like a tall filter in the grind holder. I ordered these filters and they work perfectly. Eliminated the mess. Thank you

The questions, is it easy to clean and does it brew quickly do not apply here, but you have to leave a yes or no answer. The fact is that these are very good filters, though I thought they were a little expensive for coffee filters. They were delivered promptly.

It's true. The Bunn filters are absolutely necessary to properly brew coffee in your Bunn brewer. I ignored the manufacturer's advice for years, but finally, desperate because the coffeemaker kept overflowing, I heeded the instruction book which advised me that if I use decaffeinated coffee I need to use the Bunn filers. I generally mix caffeinated and decaffeinated in every pot. Well, not only has all the overflowing stopped, the coffee is WAY BETTER TASTING! I had not expected it but we are enjoying our coffee much more since I bought these filers. And even though they cost about 3 times what the store brand costs, I will definitely buy them again.
