  • So far a decent used SSD, even being much larger than needed it is a great value over new.

Purchased to use as a system/boot drive for a Linux / Windows 7 machine. It seems a good used value, but if you use a used SSD be sure to get one at least twice the maximum space you need, preferably more. This is to make room for wear leveling. Even used at two to three times the space you need it is still a great value over a new one at the minimum size needed. The machine I use it on boots in 10 to 15 seconds after POST on both Linux Mint 20.02 and Windows 7 Pro. Have had no bad sectors or lost data yet. But, if you are able you should assign the page file/partition to a spinning drive to ease access to the SSD. That goes for other high use directories or partitions like home, tmp and var, even with a new SSD.

  • OctoPrint on Netbook

I purcased this SSD to put in a NetBook that I run Windows 10 and OctoPrint 3D Printserver. Didn't need more than 128GB. Used NetBook as aposed to a Raseberry PI
