    28.6mm Braze-on Adapter

    This is a 28.6mm clamp/adapter for front braze-on derailleur. The quality appears to be good, although the edges of the clamp could have more radius. The black coating durability can only be determined over time, out of the bag it looks good. The double shear style of hinge attachment, as is this product, I believe to be superior to other clamp/adapters on the market... but what do I know. I believe this product to have superior bang for the buck.

    Seems well made, but not compatible with my Campagnolo derailleur

    I bought this to use with a Merlin Extralight from the early nineties and a Campy C-Record front derailleur. The finish and build quality are good (not to mention the price) and it fit well on the frame, but the curve on the derailleur interface is nothing like a classic frame braze-on. I ended up buying a Campagnolo clamp to solve the problem, and now I don't know what to do with this one. If you're sure it will work with your derailleur, I think I would recommend it, but I'm not sure how you would confirm that unless you buy it in a retail store.
