Good but not great
People act like this stuff is some magic movie theater powder. I found it OK but nothing special.I wish it was sold in smaller amounts. Now I have this big Flavacol container to last the rest of my natural life. To really get the movie theater taste you are going to need to add coconut oil. I use the cheaper coconut brands like LuAnn because they have less coconut taste. If you use this Flavacol use very very little , it is very salty. .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I also bought two gallons of butter flavour popcorn oil! Both also are a topping. The butter salt solidifies the true theatrical buttered popcorn taste! Altered a life long habit
I've been popping corn since I was in grade school. Every Friday night I popped up a big batch of corn and my dad and I would watch the Friday night fights. I've popped corn thousands of times. The first time I used Flavacol, I overdid it but still loved what it did to the taste of popcorn. The second time I altered the amount and the third time I got exactly the movie popcorn taste I wanted. If you popcorn on top of the stove with coconut oil, olive oil, canola oil, etc., you need to try this at least once. It is a super addition to popcorn. Theater Flavor - Great Taste
This flavoring is excellent for popcorn, it gives it that theater taste. Suggest using a smaller amount if you're trying to cut your salt intake. I use it with the Orville Redenbacher Stirring Popper from Presto with virgin olive oil and it comes out perfect. The amount will last a long time. If you want that salty seasoning for your popcorn with a hint of butter, just like the kind you used to get from the movie theatre, this is it. The only thing is, it could only be used in the old fashioned kettle cooked style on a stove top, with some oil in a thick steel sauce pot covered with a snugly fitted lid, over the high heat.
