Unique Weight Advantage
My hands are a little on the large size for standard size grips, and as I get older, arthritis has started to become an issue. Midsize grips work better for me on both counts. These midsize grips are made such that their weight is about the same as the weight of the smaller, standard size rubber grips, so that I can replace my standard grips with these without changing the weight and weight distribution of my clubs to any great extent. These are the only midsize grips I have found that are not about 10 grams heavier, give or take, than the standard size. Further, this particular model is better than many in wet weather, and in the humid summer when sweaty hands become an issue. Durability has not been quite as good as the normal rubber grips in my experience, but it has been good enough to make the change to these grips viable. I have used Winn Dri Tac grips last 2 times I have regripped my clubs. My hands love them! Love the way they feel in my hands, very comfortable. As the name would indicate, they insure the grips won't slip when your palms get sweaty. I really can't compare longevity with other grips but playing at least once a week they last a couple of years. I'm not sure if that is good or bad but I will take feel over longevity every time! These grips are midsized because I was starting to get chronic soreness in my hand. They replaced Golf Pride MCC4 Plus grips that were hard and rough on my hands. The Winn's are much softer and fit my grip pressure well. I'm not sure how durable they will be, but they are tacky enough for humid Florida conditions.
