Best I’ve found
After spending a lot of $ on different holsters, this suits my needs perfectly. I’ve been carrying with this holster for a few years now and this one I’m buying today is number two to go with a shoulder harness. Being part of a system I can move between harness or paddle or belt. The release keeps someone trying to disarm you from grabbing your weapon or at least slowing them down. i wear it on a belt vs the paddle option. the paddle is very difficult [at least for me] with heavier pants and wider belts [my normal work wear]. excellent retention, easy to draw and clear. still waiting for a back ordered ankle rig [different manufacture] in the mean time i have worn this [on occasion] on a 2" wide velcro tennis elbow strap. not its intended purpose but it works. as for the review title i liked it so much i bought another for a different pistolVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Holster
This is my favorite holster. Gun locks in tight. It also has a smooth draw. My finger always lands on side of gun never on the trigger. Took it out of the package, decided how I wanted it set up for myself, put it together following the easy directions, slid it onto my belt and it is a perfect fit! I absolutely love the fit on my belt and my Glock 43 was a perfect fit in the holster. Gun won't come out unless you push the lever in and pull out at the same time. This was a perfect fit for my Glock 43. I added the quick attach/release that is made by Blackhawk so that I could change out this holster for one for my GLock 19 and also quickly change either to a belt holster or to the paddle. I really like it and it truly holds the pistol in place no matter what brush I am going through or any kind of movement....it is going to stay there until I release the pistol with the release button. Get one, great holster for open carry on the hip.
If your not worried about carrying your weapon on the hip, this holster is great. The paddle just slides right inside your shorts or jeans and bam, super comfortable , easy to access your weapon, it stays close to the body, and for some security the weapon locks into place with a paddle button that must be depressed before you can pull the pistol. For open carry this holster is great.

Should be standard issue
The Blackhawk Serpa holster is a genius design. The trigger guard retainer clip is secure and holds the weapon in place until needed. And the way the finger is lined up upon drawing the weapon off the trigger helps eliminate accidental discharge. One thing I have learned however, is that there are three styles, each has subtle differences. So choose carefully and educate yourself before purchase. Outstanding holster. It rides in close to the body, is adjustable for tension and angle, and has an internal locking mechanism to prevent the weapon from being grabbed by an assailant. Very few holsters offer this level of weapons retention, especially at this price point. It slides over the belt easily and then locks itself to the belt.
