best bang for the buck
I will not buy a different string for my guitars again well worth the $17.99 there was some for $6.00 that had bad reviews I didn't take a chance and get a copy I wanted and got the real deal these sure are and the sound proves it . will order a set for my 12 string as well and a new tusq saddle and nut helped made a $500.00 guitar EJ-200-CE epiphone sound great .cant put in words what it done to my 214 taylorVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

These are great!!
These are great strings at an even better price. They are original equipment on my Taylor 416ce, and I can see why. The coating softens the attack just a touch. Speaking of touch, they feel great under your fingers, and the coating helps noticeably extend the life of the strings. Knock offs, not real!
I purchased Elixir strings, for $17.00 a set so thought i would try these at $6.00 a set. They are Elixir packaging but putting them on, the "G" broke before getting it up to pitch. The strings were all a variety of colors too. After comparing these side by side with the expensive strings, these are NOT genuine Elixir strings! They have correct packaging, but they are not coated strings. When it says "Made in USA" on the packaging but they were shipped from China, should have been a clue. elixir strings is all i use

Too Good To Be True
Okay- I am very familiar with these strings, been through many sets over the years. This deal seemed fantastic on the front end, but not so far over the top that it obviously was too good to be true. I took the chance and opened 1, 2 and 3 packs because each time the G string snapped before it reached pitch- wtf. Now in all fairness these strings are known to have OCCASIONAL breakage of the G string, shame on Elixer for not fixing this, but If I previously purchased 50 sets, maybe 2 or 3 G strings broke AFTER some play time. Simply the best
