QAD Rest
There is nothing wrong with this rest, it is one, if not the best rest out there for bowhunting. With that being said, the one caution with choosing the HDX model is that it has a rather large housing. If the rear of your riser, above the is shelf is flat (like a Martin, Mathews) the housing fits snug against the riser making it a lot easier to tune. if the riser is not (like Obsession) then the housing does not lay flat against the riser. There may be other QAD models that would be better suited for your bow. Just something to think about. I am not a Bow Tech. this has just been my experience, owning several different bows mentioned. A really great rest
I have installed two of these on different bows, and they are a pleasure to use. They are easy to install (printed instructions and a DVD are included - it's hard to go wrong). They have worked flawlessly since installed; my guess is somewhere between 500 and 1000 arrows. The arrow rest is easily raised with a flick of the thumb, and when it is the arrow cannot fall out. I don't shoot competitively, but it seems to me that my groupings are better with this rest than with the Whisker Biscuit it replaced. Increased FPS and Distance

Excellent Rest
I was shooting with a Trophy Ridge Whisker Biscuit prior to switching to the QAD Ultra Rest HDX. There is a night and day difference between the two rests. First, and most importantly is how much quieter the QAD rest is than the whisker biscuit. I had the rest mounted and bow tuned by my local bow shop. I took the bow out this morning and shot good groups. Still working on sighting the bow in but I am, overall, pleased with the rest. The only potential drawback I see at this point is the felt on the bow rest itself does not look to be durable. With use and weather and can see it coming off rather easily which is why I give the rest a 4 star rating rather than a 5 star rating..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is really a great product that has been a superior upgrade from the Whisker Biscuit I used to have. Be sure to review how this product is designed and how it functions (a persons failure to understand this could result in unintended damage to the product). I currently own 3 bows and have this rest on all of them. I have tried many rests over the years, everything from whisker biscuits to drop always.
