Highly adjustable levers for the perfectionists
I paired these with the new TRP Spyke's on my 4" fat tire bike, hoping with the adjustable fulcrum I could really increase the lever pull... But honestly dialed all the way in was like a vise grip. I'm somewhere in the middle of the adjustment and these stop better than the cheap hydro's I took off the bike. There is no up and down slop in the lever, and also no drag through the pull... Much more versatile than they tell you
I've consistently used this lever with V-brakes, Cantilevers, Centerpull, side pull, and mechanical discs. It is a "linear-pull" lever so it grabs lots of cable ina short squeezing distance, but can be used with any of the aforementioned brakes if they are set up properly. Great levers
I collect old MTB and these levers are a great way of updating and old build. Even though I do not like very much the shape, their functionality and performance are second to none. I have these in 4 of my ten bikes and they do a great job, they are lightweight, the fit to my fingers is great and that adds to the overall feel.
