Product Information

These Windstorm Window Clips by PLYLOX come in patented H-shaped, black carbon steel. They are engineered to fit 0.5-inch plywood without adhesives, screws, or nails. They transfer the outward force of wind lift through their tension legs, forcing them against the casing to hold the cover securely in place. They provide rigid, safe attachment of plywood to brick, stucco, or wood window casings. They are rugged, which makes them durable.

    A little extra hurricane insurance.

    After hurricane Irma, I felt I needed to protect my windows better. These clips are well made and have a very simple design. They easily slip onto 1/2 plywood and press into my concrete block Florida home window wells. A bit of a challenge to remove, but I think that is a feature not a minus. I was ready for hurricane Michael this year, but was happy I did not have to use them, and I hope I never will. I feel a little safer now knowing I have these clips and will be ready for the next hurricane.

    I feel more secure with these when a storm comes. Being a woman its something that I can do on my own to secure my home. Simply screw Plylox into the wood in a square pattern and have them ready when needed. when a storm comes you push then into your window frames and your ready for the storm.

    No holes to drill

    Plylox are great fasteners. speed up putting up plywood and removing it. They are a little pricey, but what isn't! They make hurricane preparation much easier and faster. I'm sure that is part of the pricing policy. Still worth it.
