Great old-school sound!
More for making syndrum crash sounds like Gary Numan, Devo, Ultravox, Kraftwerk etc, rather than snare drum sounds. But if triggered by a sequencer and decay is set tight it can sound close to an old school analog drum or Modular snare! Works nice with my Roland or Yamaha electronic drum pads, so i can play it by stick also. Good feature that it can work by either battery or power adapter.
