I don't know why but the "thin design" feature really works. You don't get that buzzing on the D and G strings that sometimes makes you have to overtighten and put the other strings out of tune. The manufacturing was a little shakey though. It's tricky to insert the crossbar to close it over the strings. You have to squeeze the whole thing to get it to go in. Not so bad once you get used to it and it does work well

Fairly pricey capo that works great if it fits. It's smaller than I expected. I have a pretty typical acoustic guitar. Will only fit up to the 6th fret. Will not fit behind the nut for handy "on-guitar" storage as suggested. Make sure you have a neck and headstock (behind the nut) that runs a little narrow. Find one you can try on before purchase.

This is a great capo, but it is limited in where you can use it on the neck. Paige has other models that may be more versatile. I have an acoustic that this won't fit on past the 5th fret. It is a chunky neck, but it's not that chunky. On my tele with a modern c-profile neck, it will work up to the 10th or 11th fret. Where it fits, it works great. Easy to adjust, and stays in tune well. Good price.

I've used several different styles brands etc of capos...this one is the best in my opinion. Can leave it in the neck for quick use, the only problem I've ever had is when the rubber hose gets grooves after a few months...I just replace it with tubing from O'Reillys!

I like the small size and easy storing above the nut. Also like that it doesn't pull the strings out of tune like trigger capos do However, the tightening screw really gets in the way when playing chords or notes on the fret adjacent to the capo. Possibly could be improved by angling the screw towards the headstock.
