Must have to Calulate Headspace with Hornady Comparator tool
If you are a reloader looking for accuracy you need to calculate your headspace of your rifle based on caliber, casing, the bullets you are using. From there you can control the "jump" that is the sweet spot for your ammo and rifle. This modified case is need to use with the Hornady comparator measuring tool. It is easy to use in conjunction with Hornady headspace gauge, Hornady Ogive bullet gauge and a caliper. Fit & function
This is very nice to lock in how far the bullet is lengthened to reach the rifle lands. However when I checked the length of the cartridge from base to the shoulder it was different from what the Hornady ELDM match ammo is set to by at least .002. I am mentioning this because you need to match your brass shoulder bump to this gauge or you will be off by .002 and this could be the difference between touching the rifle lands or having the bullet set back from the lands.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

While specs are not exact ( case legnth, datum etc.) you can further modify for more exacting dimentions if you feel it's necessary.
