Love the game, been looking for it for some time. The new way the controls work takes a little to learn, but the option to use three types of controls helps for new players or when you have a guest at home that does not have the time to learn the new controls. The only thing that would be great to have in the game is all the clubs from Europe and South America.
I had Winning Eleven 9 on PS2 before, it was a great experience to see more clubs and stadiums been added to the game. Now I owned a Wii system, and I jumped over PES 2007 and PES 2008 by getting the newest PES 2009, it is intersting by using different methods of control in Wii system. However, I still prefer the way PS2 used, so I would recommend to get classic controller add-on to Wii remote before the remote get break during the game. The disappointment of the game is that the some clubs have been given some strange names and less stadiums included compare to previous versions. Overall, I can only give an average rating to PES 2009 and hope the newer version next year can give back the reality.
