Does not work with class D bridged amp outputs
Someone else commented about the wire colors. You can figure them out, but no they don't even match the list on the back of the package. As for function, I guess it might work in some situations, but in my application (attachment to internal television speakers) it definitely does NOT work. There is an overwhelming amount of static and hiss, just as another reviewer found. I think the problem is that there are no isolation transformers inside the case. The speaker outputs of my television (Samsung UN55EH6050F) are bridged class D (switchers). All that comes through is the switching noise and little or no actual audio. I will look for one that definitely has transformers to replace it. Because I have installed this unit and soldered its wires I can no longer return it. When I get one with isolation transformers to replace it, this one will go straight into the trash. I am not faulting the seller, it IS as shown in the listing, and arrived very quickly. However, be warned, this is not a good quality unit, at least in my experience.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very noisy
The device is very noisy, at least in an indoor setting,. The ground wire has to be connected, and there is no common ground that I have been able to find which cancels the noise. I have grounded it to the ethernet jack, but even then, though the loud hum is cancelled, there is a constant clicking coming, I suppose, from the router connection. In a car it might work well enough, but inside the home, without a common ground, there is too much noise to be useful.
