Worth every penny!
Super easy to install. Go to Hauppauge home page, click "Support". Top. Left is the link to the operating software and very bottom right is the Signal Monitor software link. Install both and use Sig Mom to test antennas to see which is best and use to aim yours for best signal! Just this easy. Installed on WIN 10 and one XP Laptop with zero issues! Domestic dependability
Already had a pretty nice Mygica stick I bought from Amazon. This review is more about that. There are 2 things I know about that purchase now; I can't use it, nor can I uninstall the s'ware bundle [different, disinterested party] provided. Support...har-dee-har-har. It worked until it quit; hide and go seek drivers, unresponsive channel scans... Hauppauge--made and serviced in the US. That first paragraph would be fiction. Flight insurance for the cord cutter. Fabulous hardware but a serious software limitation.
Everything about the device itself is perfect. My list reasons for giving a floor and not a five-star rating is the R part of pvr software is hardly useful. Scheduling recording should work just like any cable box with advanced search features and ability to record with a variety of parameters. As far as I can tell recording software bundled with the 1595 only lets you record a program if you already know the title, which channel it is on and what time it's on.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
