Marantz PMD620 Digital Audio Recorder
This is a high quality, high performance, well built product. It is small and lightweight, records to an SD card, and can run for 4 or 5 hours on 2 AA alkaline batteries. It allows the user to set up 3 selectable sets of recording parameters prior to recording.

Great compact recorder
I mostly use the internal mics, which are great. But the preamps can support dynamic mics. Easy to use, small enough to carry on you pretty much all the time.

Great Machine for recording
I do a lot of voice recording and this machine has excellent playback quality, especially when using a high quality microphone (mine is a Shure).
