Great way to save money on an Aeron chair
This is basically a new chair. It says "open box" and I would guess someone had trouble inserting one of the four bolts which held in the back of the chair. It was pretty messed up and needed a bit of 'persuasion' to get it out, and then back in. But it worked and totally happy to do a bit of extra setup to save this much on a brand new chair. Believe the hype
Arms keep falling down randomly. When switching out of tilt mode, sometimes, it still wants to tilt a little. Something internally isn't being caught or latching on entirely. Love Herman Miller Aeron chairs!
This is my 4th purchase of an Aeron chair - the first 2 were 20 years ago. Those are both still being used and are still functioning perfectly. The 3rd I’ve used for 12 years and decided to share with a coworker so I could by the smaller size (A). This one is the size A and fits me better - proportunate to my size. I bould all these chairs used on eBay and they don’t disappoint and last forever! Comfortable and cool because of the mesh seat and back and the variety of adjustments you can make including the lumbar support. They’re a little expensive but worth every penny. Excellent chair. Couple small problems for my size.
Looked at several models / designs of chairs from other companies and price points for 2 months. Finally decided on this chair. Had to buy a head rest to round it out ( atlas was what I decided on). There is only 2 items I would like different. 1 arms do not adjust up enough for my body type. 2 it takes getting used to( on the arms again) ...to keep them in one position. They do not have a way to firmly lock so they can move in towards your torso or away from your torso left and right too easily. Other then that great chair. Knock offs cant compare. I am 6 foot or 2 meters tall and weigh 230 pounds/ 104 kilos. I have a longer torso so my arms are slightly higher at the elbows.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Quality with a 10 year warranty !
Quality...This chair is built in good quality. It arrived in almost new condition. Easy to assemble. It is smooth when you recline in the chair, along with the tension rod, you can adjust to you liking. Good seat height adjustment to. Armrests are comfortable with adjustable height. There is no headrest (understand there is one however mine did not come with one.) If there is one drawback, IMO, it is the mesh seat is not solid, this messes with my back, the lumbar pad is good but needs improvement. It will pop off the chair if not careful (cheap plastic grips attach to frame of chair.) This may not affect how the chair works for you, this was my personal experience. Value...I purchased this chair used with (roughly) all new parts and 10 year warranty. Only had the chair a month however, I have purchased other chairs for a hundred and change, they all break within a year. IF this last 10 years and I can figure a way to make the seat work where my back doesn't hurt then this is a good value. Recommend...I do recommend this chair, be sure you get the chair that fits YOU ! Overall I give this chair a 3.5 stars, although I cannot give half a stars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Easy to assemble and adjust. A great overall value.
To my understanding this product when purchased new is over $1000.00 so getting it for roughly half price is a plus. It's easy to adjust for the most part and has a good overall feel. If there's a bad part is that the seat itself needs additional padding but that's easily handled by a couple of old towels and a trusty flattened pillow from my old dilapidated office chair. Chair lives up to the hype of the brand name
It really is a different animal of a chair. I spend both my working day (working from home) as well as most of my leisure time in a computer chair, and it's unfortunate that all of the entry-level chairs only last a few years before they start falling apart. With this one so far, I can feel a definite shift in my posture. Very comfortable, great lumbar support
pros: excellent lumbar support (which I need because of chronic back pain), very comfortable and very adjustable - solidly built (you can tell the difference from a standard inexpensive office chair). Cons: very expensive if purchased at full retail price ( I purchased mine as open-box).
