I don't know whether this TMB35 is representative of "all" TMB35's, but in its original condition, proper setup and intonation was impossible. The Guitar Center guitar tech had to order a set of short scale strings in order to achieve a proper setup and accurate intonation. The cost of the strings plus the setup was "half" the price of the guitar which "did not" prove to be a good value for this one. Also, the wood from which the neck was cut was not pretty. I'm unhappy with the looks of the neck, but the aesthetics does not affect the play-ability of the guitar. After all the extra expense, I do like the way the guitar plays and love the tone. My recommendation would be, don't buy one unless you have it in hand first, or unless it is returnable.
